Dr Shreya Tocaciu 

Dr Shreya Tocaciu is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who offers the full scope of the speciality including the management of impacted teeth, bone grafting and implants. Her clinical interests are in orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), temporomandibular joint surgery, and the management of facial trauma.

​

Dr Tocaciu qualified in Dentistry at the University of Adelaide in 2009, then worked as a dentist before completing her Medical qualifications at the University of Tasmania. She completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical training in Victoria and Tasmania, working in many hospitals across the two states. In addition, she completed her fellowship in advanced TMJ surgery and reconstruction at Epworth and St Vincent’s Hospitals in Melbourne.

Dr Tocaciu has published over twenty journal articles in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and completed a Masters thesis at the University of Melbourne in the field of Temporomandibular Joint Surgery. She maintains a keen interest in research and education, and is on several committees/councils within ANZAOMS, IAOMS and RACDS. Based in Penola with her young family, Shreya is committed to providing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical services to the South East.

Dr Luke Mooney

We are fortunate to have Dr. Luke Mooney visit from Adelaide, SA, and consult here at LiCOMS. We warmly welcome his patients to our clinic.

 

Dr Luke Mooney is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in direct anterior hip replacement surgery, robot-assisted hip and knee replacements, and keyhole and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. Notably, Dr. Mooney completed Australia’s first fellowship training in robotic-assisted surgery in Perth in 2016. He is proud to offer the latest techniques, utilising technology-assisted planning and execution to ensure anatomical precision and accurate execution in joint replacement surgeries.

 

Dr. Mooney brings extensive experience and advanced techniques from his training both locally and internationally. He is dedicated to achieving exceptional outcomes for his patients, helping them experience improved comfort and quality of life through his treatments. Dr Ed Cleland

Dr Cleland is a specialist Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeon based in Adelaide. Dr Cleland is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of both the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. 

 

Dr Cleland manages adult and paediatric ENT patients and has a special interest in procedures which alleviate nasal obstruction such as septal surgery, sinus surgery and rhinoplasty.

Gemma Short 

Gemma began her nursing career in Melbourne before relocating to the southeast to raise a family. In 1998, she joined a specialist medical practice, where her dedication and leadership led to her appointment as Practice Manager in 2000, a role she continues to hold today.

With over two decades of hands-on experience in healthcare administration, Gemma recently commenced work with LICOMS, bringing her knowledge and practical experience in practice management.

She is deeply committed to improving access to specialist medical care for people living in rural and regional communities, believing that equitable healthcare access is essential.

Liz Spencer 

Liz is the Executive Assistant to the OMF Surgeon. Liz is an experienced administrative professional with a diverse background spanning international development, healthcare, finance, and human resources. She began her career in administrative roles within the international development sector, gaining valuable experience in supporting global initiatives and managing complex office operations.

Liz visited Mount Gambier for two weeks in 2011 and hasn’t left since! After relocating to the South East, she transitioned into the healthcare industry, working across multiple medical practices, developing a deeper understanding of organisational operations, financial processes and employee relations. With her strong interpersonal skills, professional integrity and comprehensive administrative experience, Liz delivers high-quality support to the team and patients of LiCOMS.

Chantelle Cocks

Chantelle manages Patient Flow and Reception at LiCOMS. She has over ten years of experience in medical and dental care. As a Mount Gambier local, she is dedicated to the South East, and is always ready to help patients with her warm smile and local knowledge.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her young family and dominating on the netball court. 

Bianca England 

​Bianca is our clinical care coordinator. As a registered nurse, she has over ten years of experience working in the South East, in operating theatres, hospitals and consulting rooms. Bianca completed a bachelor of nursing in 2015, then went on to complete a post-graduate honors degree in peri-operative nursing, and a graduate certificate in leadership. Bianca is a busy mum, and brings a wealth of experience to the LiCOMS team. When she is not hard at work, Bianca enjoys exploring our beautiful region in her caravan with her young family.
